Many hotels offer rooms that can be used for business meetings. And in some cases this is complemented by a variety of relaxing activities which are also available to enjoy between meetings: swimming, spa, golf, cooking course, theme parks and so on… A pleasant combination of business and relaxation is sure to mean a successful event.

Aiming to win over Meeting Planners

Major hotel chains take great care to appeal to event organisers, who are looking to book seminars, conventions, congresses, incentives and more. Each of these type of events is organised by a Meeting Planner, and this person has now become the prime target for loyalty programmes. And whether they are part of a major international firm or an SME, these people are the key to successful business events.

There are countless offers from major hotel chains hoping to encourage event organisers to choose their establishment as the venue for their next business event. The concept is simple: for each event organised, the event organiser earns loyalty points. Then, depending on the rules fixed by their company, the employee can either use the points in a personal capacity or book another event using the points as a partial payment.

Earn points with each event organised

Le Club AccorHotels Meeting Planner follows this principal, offering an attractive  deal for event planners. The programme is free of charge and is valid across 90 countries and in 2,000 hotels. Every €2 spent earns one Le Club AccorHotels Meeting Planner loyalty point, for each booking of eight rooms or more, or per eight people on a study day (a day of work without an overnight stay).

They can then use these points to finance a new event costing around €1500. And if the event planner uses the points in a personal capacity, he or she will also have access to the entire Le Club AccorHotels range, as well as affiliated partners (Air France, Europcar etc), the AccorHotels Arena and the new La Collection e-shop  and the e-Mall Collections (an online shopping mall that offers 1,700 products from 250 major brands). The Meeting Planner offer is extremely advantageous as it allows the beneficiary to take advantage of top offers and privileges linked with the high status that is earned very quickly.
