Swissôtel, our Alps-inspired prestigious brand, announced that it has entered into a franchise agreement with Al-Shiddi International to open a new 218-room address in Sarajevo in 2018.

To all travelers looking for the perfect fusion between relaxation, adventure and culture: the natural parks of Bosnia, its Ottoman architectural treasures, UNESCO Mostar Bridge site, and its rich cultural life will know how to seduce you!

It is in this scenery that a new address will open its door in 2018: the Swissôtel Sarajevo. The hotel will be located in the city downtown, not far away from Sarajevo’s top attractions and International Airport.

Armed with a worldwide expertise in real estate and business investments Al-Shiddi International, member of the Saudi Al-Shiddi Group, will ensure Swissôtel Sarajevo’s construction and operations.

We are extremely pleased to be partnering with AccorHotels on this new Swissôtel resort project and look forward to working with them to create a truly world-class property.

You are in a professional trip? The hotel will also have a private executive club and 500 square meters (5,300 square feet) of indoor meeting space with function areas.

This is an exciting new addition for the Swissôtel brand and a perfect complement to our company’s growing portfolio of city and resort destinations throughout Europe. In keeping with Swissôtel’s brand promise of promoting quality in life, the resort will offer a very inspiring atmosphere which will be bolstered with local attributes authentic to the locale.
