It's official: for the 3rd consecutive year, Serena Williams will be AccorHotels Official Ambassador for Australian Open, from January 15 to 28 2018, in Melbourne!
Impossible for the largest hotel operator in Australia to miss the event. AccorHotels will be the 2018 Australian Open’s official partner, represented by Serena Williams during the tournament.
The first event of the season
Since 1905, the Grand Slam tennis tournament captivates tennis fans in Melbourne every year. It marks the first tennis rendez-vous of the international circuit! Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open are up next, respectively in May, June and August.
Ambassador and emblematic champion
Defending champion in Melbourne, Serena Williams knows the tournament well. She holds the largest number of women's singles titles after 1969. 7 to be correct. And it is just months after giving birth to her daughter that she prepares her return to court! Here goal: add a 24th Grand Slam title to her victories, which would make her the most successful Grand Slam player in history ex-aequo with Margaret Court. The challenge is up!
