Going organic means enjoying delicious food while at the same time respecting the planet. Today, Sofitel, MGallery and Pullman are starting to go organic in France and are committed to offering guests 100% organically grown fresh fruit and vegetables. Healthy and high quality food…. It’s organic!
Food which is both healthy and sustainable on a large scale is possible! Sofitel, MGallery and Pullman are showing the way in France and are committed to offering 100% organically grown fresh fruit and vegetables. The aim is to encourage their customers to adopt more sustainable eating habits by involving them in an environmentally-friendly approach.
All or nothing
Almost 100% of the fruit and vegetables being offered will be organic! An offering which is available in the French hotels of the 3 brands and includes raw fruit and vegetables served fresh or cooked in all catering outlets.
This initiative is in addition to the organic products already available in the Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery hotels in France and their various environmentally-friendly initiatives. These hotels are often already very committed to sustainable food, like the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, for example, with its beehives to encourage bee reproduction.
"We are proud that after 18 months of reflection and collaboration with the chefs and hotel directors, organic and in-season fruit and vegetables have arrived in the hotels since the beginning of the summer. Our ambition is to make a lasting change to our customers’ food habits and the work culture of our catering teams, by giving preference to local products and varying the dishes on offer according to the region and the season" said Thierry Giraud, Luxury Catering Manager at AccorHotels France.
Long term awareness campaign
This offering comes within the scope of our Planet 21 Acting Here program which fights against food waste and supports sustainable food models.
In addition to being good for the environment and our customers’ stomachs, AccorHotels also contributes towards the creation of activities and jobs in France by offering organic and locally sourced food!
Stay tuned! Other delicious new products are on the way. As from next October, vegan dishes and new categories of organic products will be available in the Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery hotels in France.
