All around the world and since the beginning of the crisis, our owners have been mobilizing to support people in need. Let’s take a look back at these solidarity initiatives in France, Brazil and Italy.
Today, we wanted to give the floor to key players in our Group's business with whom we are working hand in hand to address the health crisis: our owners. Since the beginning of the epidemic, many Accor hotel owners have initiated solidarity initiatives to support people affected by the crisis.
From the opening of the hotel to people who tested positive for Covid-19, to the donation of perishable products, food, sheets, tablecloths and towels to care centers, to the anticipation of security measures for the reopening… In France, Brazil and Italy, 3 of them tell how they have lived these last months and their impact on their activity: Olivier Pelat, Founder of Européquipements, Accor franchisee and owner of the ibis budget Paris Nord 18ème, Alexandro Solleiro, owner of the Mercure Curtiba Aeropuerto and CEO of the 3rd largest hotel chain in Brazil - Brazil Hospitality Group and Antonio Manzerra, owner and director of the Mercure Bergamo Aeroporto.
