Hosting Change sets measurable commitments for 2030, grounded in over 50 years of sustainability progress at Accor. The roadmap has been co-designed across teams, brands, owners and partners. We have a long way to go, so we are moving forward with determination, concrete targets, a shared structure, and the full commitment of the Group.

For more than 50 years, Accor has been pioneering what responsible hospitality looks like. Today, we take the next step forward.
We are launching Hosting Change, our sustainability roadmap for 2026–2030. Built on solid foundations and co-created with our key stakeholders, it carries one clear ambition: turning sustainability into shared value for every stakeholder – Heartists®, guests, owners, communities, and broader ecosystems.
Hosting is what we do. We create spaces where people feel welcomed, cared for, and transformed. As the sustainability transition reshapes our industry and our guests’ expectations, we embrace this change – we host it. With Hosting Change, we mobilize and empower hotel owners and teams to shape a responsible hospitality that creates shared and lasting value.
This is not a break from our past. It is the continuation of our pioneering legacy, aligned with our performance-driven business model and grounded in the realities of hospitality today, while anticipating future needs and remaining relevant as expectations, regulations and climate-related challenges continue to shift.
Hosting Change is structured around four strategic pillars, each mapped to a core dimension of our business and the stakeholders at its heart. Together, they define what it means to operate responsibly in hospitality today. Within each pillar, beyond the essentials, we push the boundaries with extra mile initiatives that pioneers bold moves to lead our industry forward.

The places we operate are our foundation. We are decarbonizing our activity and reducing and optimizing resource consumption across our business, from development to daily operations. We support owners with responsible design guidance to ensure every new and renovated property embeds sustainability from the ground up. And we hold our entire supply chain to the same standards, working with suppliers who share our values to build a resilient, responsible sourcing model.
Our extra mile: We are scouting, testing, and scaling innovations for resource efficiency and circularity, targeting 100+ breakthrough solutions piloted across our network and shared with the industry by 2030.

Delivering more responsible hospitality starts with empowering our people. We uphold fundamental human rights across our network, ensuring that every Heartist® works in a safe, fair, and dignified environment. We equip our people at every level, from housekeeping to management, with knowledge and tools to contribute to our sustainability transformation. And we attract, develop, and nurture diverse talent – because stronger, more inclusive teams build stronger, more performing businesses.
Our extra mile: We are unlocking potential by training and mentoring people facing barriers to employment through a structured pathway into hospitality – 20,000 certified through our social mobility program by 2030.

Sustainability becomes even more meaningful when guests can feel it. We welcome every guest without exception, removing barriers for guests with disabilities and creating safe experiences for LGBTQI+ travelers. Answering the growing expectations of guests and online travel agencies, third-party eco-certifications help drive visibility, guest confidence, and commercial performance. And we are transforming our culinary offer in line with rising demand for healthier, more sustainable choices, delivering dining that is both more responsible and more delicious.
Our extra mile: We are redesigning our Food & Beverage model to put plants at the center of the plate, with 35% plant-forward dishes, including vegan & vegetarian options, across our hotels and restaurants by 2030.

Hosting Change extends beyond Accor. We accompany our suppliers in their own sustainability transition, providing guidance, tools, and frameworks to strengthen their resilience and performance. We protect and restore the biodiversity surrounding our properties, supporting local ecosystems and inviting guests, teams, and partners to play an active role. We ensure our presence in every destination creates genuine, lasting value, through local partnerships, volunteering, and active solidarity with the communities we call home.
Our extra mile: We are making our hotels places of protection for those at risk, with 1,000 properties making rooms available to people victims of violence by 2030.
As we look ahead to 2030 and beyond, Hosting Change sets our direction: responsible hospitality that creates shared value for all stakeholders and raises standards across our industry.
