At Accor, we believe that hospitality is a bridge between cultures. Haute couture and fashion also bring together exceptional talents and savoir-faire that shine worldwide. That's why we are proud to launch the first edition of the New Crafts Awards with the FHCM and to support these four designers.

Launched in 2024, the cultural partnership between Accor and the FHCM, an organization bringing together a hundred French and international design Houses selected for their creativity and unique savoir-faire, reflects shared values of excellence, innovation, and support for creation. Through this collaboration, Accor reinforces its ambition to make hospitality a vibrant space where cultural experiences can connect communities, inspire curiosity, and elevate talent.
By embedding artistic discovery into the hospitality experience, Accor reinforces its role as a patron of culture and a catalyst for the next generation of talent.
We are united by the values of culture, craftsmanship and creativity, and Paris Fashion Week®, just like Accor, also embodies the virtues of French culture – its hospitality and openness to the world. The future of our industries is imagined and woven together with the new generations of talents passionate about design and innovation.

Reflecting the Group’s commitment to culture, heritage, and talent – and its ambition to create experiences that broaden perspectives and bring people together – the New Crafts Awards are conceived to support emerging creators each year and celebrate creative craftsmanship through the FHCM SPHERE program.
For this inaugural edition, Swissôtel, was associated with the awards, with an international selection process involving invited emerging brands, a shortlist of finalists, and a jury composed of experts from Accor and the FHCM.
Swissôtel invited designers, whose brands showcase their collections during the Official Paris Fashion Week® and Haute Couture Week Calendars, to respond to a creative brief, proposing an iconic object or artwork embodying the brand’s founding values.
At Swissôtel, we believe true craftsmanship is felt in the details – in the care, precision, and intention behind every experience. In Peet Dullaert, we see a designer who embodies this philosophy, someone who crafts with purpose and whose work carries the lasting resonance we aspire to offer in every guest experience.

For this first edition of the New Crafts Awards, the jury of experts from Accor and the FHCM recognized four emerging talents – one laureate, Peet Dullaert, and three finalists: EGONLAB, Julie de Libran, and Kartik Research.
Peet Dullaert, a Dutch stylist, haute couture designer, and entrepreneur, based in Paris, has been named the inaugural laureate of the New Crafts Awards.
He was selected for his authentic vision and identity, delivering a unique exploration of contemporary silhouette tailored for modern living. His work is defined by an artisanal approach to sur-mesure, where designs find their origin using drape-techniques to form a pure connection between the wearer and the garment.
Dullaert stood out in particular for an object design proposal conceived as a sculptural centerpiece evoking calm, precision, and the quiet poetry of nature, the piece speaks directly to Swissôtel's brand pillars: Swiss precision, pure living, and the seamless harmony between form and function.
Swissôtel and Peet Dullaert will now explore the right setting to develop and adapt this proposal in the coming months, bringing this creative dialogue to life within the brand’s properties.
Founded in France in 2019 under the artistic direction of Florentin Glémarec and Kevin Nompeix, EGONLAB is driven by the ambition to become a true way of life.
Each collection becomes a narrative territory, an emotional space where fashion intersects with image, sound, and movement. To bring this vision to life, the House gathers a collective of artists, musicians, producers, and digital creators.
Together, they compose immersive experiences where every detail contributes to a broader, almost cinematic narrative, where clothing is not simply worn but experienced.

Launched in 2019, Julie de Libran's Couture brand stands as a purpose-driven alternative to the excess of the global luxury industry.
Her collections embody a timeless, elegant Parisian lifestyle with a cool Californian comfort and ease.
Focused on luxurious fabrics, meticulous craftsmanship and sustainability, each piece reflects de Libran's artistic vision and celebrates the essence of Parisian chic.

Founded in New Delhi, India in 2021 by Kartik Kumra, Kartik Research is a craft-led menswear brand. At its heart, it seeks to reintroduce humanness into clothing.
Each piece integrates handmade elements – handloomed shirting and quilts, plant- and herb-based dyes, and hand embroidery – resulting in garments with an intentionally unique character, reflecting the imperfect beauty of handmade craft.

As laureate, Peet Dullaert will receive a financial endowment to help accelerate the development of his brand, as well as access to Accor’s expansive ecosystem in Europe, a powerful social elevator designed to help creators flourish on an international scale, along with the opportunity to stay across the Group’s hotel network.
Over an 18-month period, the laureate and finalists will also be associated with selected initiatives linked to Accor and Swissôtel, such as inspirational talks, conferences or seminars both for Accor team members and members of ALL Accor, the Group’s booking platform and loyalty program.
As part of the partnership, ALL Accor, the Group’s booking platform and loyalty program, will offer members privileged access to selected fashion and cultural moments.
During Paris Haute Couture Week, a curated selection of seats for Peet Dullaert’s runway presentation were reserved exclusively for ALL Accor members, creating rare access to the world of haute couture through cultural discovery and experience.
Through the New Crafts Awards, Accor continues to build bridges between hospitality, design, and culture – supporting a new generation of creators while enriching guest and member experience.
