Pullman is transforming its hotels into places for meaningful connection through flexible social spaces, Pullman xChange events, and next-generation meeting offerings.
The guest journey has been redesigned for fluid lifestyles, from welcoming arrival experiences to bar-led dining concepts and programming that shifts throughout the day to reflect different rhythms of travel.
Pullman's new global campaign brings the brand transformation to life by demonstrating how every interaction has the potential to challenge perspectives, inspire curiosity and redefine the purpose of travel.
Over the past 18 months, Pullman has introduced a global emotional intelligence training program focused on empathy, cultural awareness, and authentic connection. Over 70% of Pullman's 30,000+ Heartists have already completed the program.
The transformation is fueling significant global expansion and a robust pipeline of new properties. Today, the brand operates more than 150 hotels across over 40 countries, with more than 60 hotels in the pipeline, and is on track to surpass 200 hotels within five years.
Transformation should always be intentional. A conscious choice to move ahead of the world rather than simply respond to it. That has always been the Pullman way.

Pullman's transformation began by asking a critical question: how do brands remain meaningful in a world where attention is scarce, expectations are changing, and transactions alone are no longer enough?
Today's traveler moves fluidly between professional ambition, social connection, personal wellbeing, and cultural discovery. They seek dynamic, social, flexible, and experience-led environments where meaningful interactions can unfold.
Pullman has always anticipated these shifts. From George Pullman's pioneering "hotel on wheels" in 1859, which transformed travel into an elegant, social, and human-centered experience, to our current reimagination of hospitality, the brand consistently leads with innovation. This deep understanding of guest needs became the catalyst for a strategic decision to reassert Pullman’s role as a platform for exchange – a place where business and culture blend, and hospitality becomes a conduit for connection.
Here’s how Pullman's vision of provoking new exchanges is manifested in our hotels:
The journey begins with the Pullman Portal, a carefully designed architectural entry point that signals a deliberate shift from the outside world into the Pullman universe. Through thoughtful use of light, sound, scent, materiality, and spatial choreography, guests are invited into a different state of mind – one of presence, curiosity, and openness to exchange. The first Pullman Portal made its debut in Dubai, with additional locations planned in New Zealand, Australia and China in the months ahead.
Pullman is transforming its F&B offerings into dynamic social hubs. Moving beyond standalone venues, concepts are increasingly bar-led, energetic, and experience-driven. These spaces are designed to be vibrant meeting points for hotel guests, local communities, creatives, and entrepreneurs. The "Unexpected Pairings" ritual, launching later this year, encourages guests to enjoy surprising cocktail and food pairings that celebrate contrast – a hallmark of Pullman’s identity.
Successful examples globally are becoming destinations in their own right, with venues combining distinctive food and beverage concepts with live entertainment, cultural programming and social experiences that appeal equally to travelers and local audiences.
Pullman is fundamentally changing the nature of meetings. Natasha Mohammed explains, "We are moving beyond meeting spaces designed purely for function and creating environments designed for contribution." This means fostering dialogue, collaboration, and unexpected interactions. Events like Pullman xChange are living demonstrations of how meetings can evolve into immersive, cultural, and human experiences.
We have reimagined the guest experience around one simple truth: Modern life is no longer linear. Our guests do not move through their day in fixed compartments. That requires a very different kind of hospitality design.

In an increasingly automated world, human connection remains paramount. Pullman’s service culture is built on emotional intelligence, ensuring guests feel recognized, welcomed, and understood.
A significant development in this human-centered approach is the "Hosts of Pullman" program. Drawing inspiration from the historic Pullman Porters, these visible hosts are more than receptionists or concierges. Their role is to create meaningful exchanges throughout the hotel – welcoming guests, connecting them with experiences, facilitating conversations, and crafting personal moments.
Piloted in eight countries, this program embodies a new expression of hospitality, set to launch globally in 2027, making every stay more intuitive, personal, and emotionally connected.
The transformation is not just conceptual; it's driving tangible growth and guest satisfaction. Pullman continues to strengthen its global presence, with over 150 hotels in more than 40 countries and a robust pipeline of over 60 new addresses. Recent openings like Pullman Ninh Binh in Vietnam and upcoming developments such as Pullman Hamilton in New Zealand and Pullman Nanjing Binjiang in China exemplify the brand's commitment to transformative design, creative exchange, and modern hospitality.

This transformation is already taking physical form across the network. Through renovations. Through new design standards. Through the introduction of Pullman Portals. Through new offerings that are redefining social interaction, food and beverage, and guest engagement.

To reveal this new vision to the world, Pullman is proud to officially introduce its new global campaign. Rooted in the simple belief that "An exchange is a human connection, and every trip has the power to shift perspective," this campaign marks a creative reset for the brand.
Shot between Dubai and Bangkok, it captures what happens when perspectives meet, boundaries dissolve, and new ways of seeing begin to emerge. It's a campaign about what happens between people – the conversations, collisions, and connections that provoke what comes next, with Pullman as the enabler.
Pullman is building a brand designed not just for where the world is now, but for where it is going next. By continuously provoking new exchanges, fostering vibrant connections, and embracing contrast, Pullman Hotels & Resorts is cementing its position as a culturally dynamic and socially attuned leader in premium hospitality, reshaping how people meet, move, and stay around the world.
The core idea is "Provoking New Exchanges." This means fostering meaningful human connections and cultural dialogue, transforming hotels into platforms where diverse ideas and people meet, and every trip has the power to shift perspective.
Pullman stands out through its emphasis on "vibrancy, exchange, and contrast." Our hotels are designed as dynamic cultural accelerators, offering expressive spaces, unexpected formats, and experiences that connect people to people, fostering creative collisions and engaging interactions that go beyond traditional offerings.
Guests will experience the Pullman Portal upon arrival, encounter bar-led, energetic F&B concepts, find wellbeing integrated throughout their stay, and participate in reimagined meeting experiences focused on contribution and dialogue. The upcoming Hosts of Pullman program will also provide a more intuitive and personalized human connection.
Pullman's modern vision is rooted in its pioneering legacy. Just as George Pullman transformed 19th-century rail travel into a social experience, today's Pullman reimagines hospitality for fluid, blended lifestyles. The spirit of invention and focus on human connection remains central, adapted for contemporary travelers.
Pullman xChange is a series of events designed to open new conversations through creativity, culture, and purposeful dialogue. It's a live demonstration of Pullman's philosophy, transforming hotels into spaces where ideas, creativity, and human connection can intersect naturally, fostering discovery and growth.
