Each year around Earth Day (22 April), AccorHotels organises “Planet 21 Day”, a key event in which our teams get fully involved. It is the perfect opportunity for staff all around the world to proudly showcase their commitment to sustainable development.

This year we launched the Green Stars campaign to promote sustainable food, a major priority of the Planet 21 programme. The hotels were asked to organise a project or activity focusing on one of the following 3 topics:

• Healthy food
• Vegetable garden
• Food waste

The campaign was a big success! Hotels from all over the world got involved and showed their creative side.
